Buxton's Garden Farm
|
|
Starting out as a small roadside stand, selling sweetcorn out of the back of a pick-up truck, we have grown into a year-round garden center. Buxton's Garden Farm & Flower shop has grown in our services and products to who we are today. Found on Rte. 121, 3 miles west of Sullivan, IL, we are a great small town business continually growing and changing.
In 1997, they built what they called "The Shed" on a 21 acre farm right off of Rte. 121. It had a rock floor and they sold just enough vegetables to keep the their kids busy in the afternoons. Over the years we have grown and now have four greenhouses in addition to our little "shed" that is now well known as "Buxton's Garden Farm and Flower Shop."

Announcing...The Future Stars Program
at The Little Theatre On The Square
|
Class schedules are here!
We are very excited to announce the newly formatted Education Outreach program at The Little Theatre On The Square...The Future Stars Program. Our newly updated class offerings will give students in Central Illinois the only opportunity to work with Working Musical Theatre Professionals at a Professional Theatre. This professional environment is a safe and friendly place to grow as a performer, dancer, singer and actor. Each semester will be lead by a new working professional artist in residence and students will learn skills to better themselves as a professional performer through the skills taught by these revolving professionals. Each week students will learn more about the art of Musical Theatre through opportunities in Dance, Drama and Voice with practical experiences of being on stage available each semester through our Fall and Spring student productions as well as audition prep for Main-Stage shows.

When: September 16th, 8am -2pm
Where: At the Sullivan Legion
As long as donors are in the building before 2 pm, the Red Cross will finish taking their blood. There will be many door prizes donated by local businesses and individuals. Walk ins are again welcome, BUT I STRONGLY suggest having an appointment due to the large amount of donors expected. Donors can call Jeri Davis Drive Coordinator at 273-9456 to schedule an appointment. They have given us 122 appointment slots which is 2 times our normal amount of slots!
