Summer Associate Pro Bono Series
Interested in advancing access to justice for all and assisting low-income clients in metro Atlanta? Want to learn more about the crucial work Atlanta Legal Aid is doing to help in-need people navigate the complexities of the court system at the most vulnerable times in their lives? Join us Summer 2018 for the inaugural Legal Aid Summer Associate Pro Bono Series!

Registration costs $35 per session. Attendance is free for current Legal Aid volunteers. Please note that you must attend two sessions and our BBQ Battle event with Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation to qualify for the Pro Bono Certificate.

Our Summer Associate Pro Bono Series will prepare you to take cases and equip you to make a difference in the community. The series will consist of three training sessions: Housing & Evictions, Access to Justice Toolkit, and Temporary Protective Orders. At the end of each training, you will be able to competently provide legal representation to pro bono clients (pending admission under the student practice act with supervision). You will also receive a Pro Bono Certificate from Legal Aid to add to your resume.
Follow us to stay up-to-date on Pro Bono at Atlanta Legal Aid!
