Volunteers Making a Difference: Bill Stanhope
Bill Stanhope, one of our dedicated volunteers, recently represented a client whose property taxes had increased significantly. The client was living on a fixed income and could not afford the increased taxes and so she was at risk of losing her home. Not only did Bill represent the client and successfully decrease the appraised value of her home, but he also assisted her in completing a homestead tax exemption to further reduce her tax burden. Thank you, Bill, for your dedication to serving low-income clients! Assisting clients with property tax appeal cases can make a huge impact in their lives.
