Tuesday’s Children provides a lifetime of healing for those whose lives have
been forever changed by terrorism or traumatic loss. Through a time-tested,
long-term approach, Tuesday’s Children programming serves and supports our nation’s military Families of the Fallen; builds resilience and common bonds in communities worldwide recovering from tragedies; and keeps the promise to support all those impacted by 9/11.
Tuesday's Children Brings Heart to Heart to Lebanon

In collaboration with The Association of Victims of Terrorism, Tuesday's Children was invited to bring our Heart to Heart Healing retreat to our allies in Lebanon and France. Collectively named Women's World Peace, this retreat brought together military widows from all three nations. The sessions furthered long-term healing and built bonds of understanding and strength. We are especially appreciative to the Lebanese Army for its patronage.
Mentor Spotlight: Andrea and Skyler

Andrea knows how important youth mentoring is, given both of her sons were in a mentoring program when they were younger. As a family directly impacted by the tragedy of September 11th, Andrea and her twin boys have been an integral part of the Tuesday's Children community. Once the boys were settled in their undergraduate experience, Andrea wanted to give back to Tuesday's Children. She started by volunteering at a Tuesday's Children charity golf event and soon asked to get more deeply involved.

Andrea learned about the Youth Mentoring Program and was paired with Skyler shortly after. Skyler and her brother are both in the Tuesday's Children Mentoring Program, as they lost their father in his post-9/11 military service. Andrea and Skyler enjoy creating memories together and have formed a bond over their mutual love of yoga and herbal tea.

"Skyler's endless energy, vivacious personality and entertaining stories never cease to amaze me," said Andrea. "I find our time together to be simultaneously uplifting and rewarding."
Skyler keeps busy with her competitive cheerleading and Andrea loves being there to support her from the sidelines!
