PowerCorpsPHL is proud to announce the selection of our new Executive Director , Lisa Varon . Lisa comes to PowerCorpsPHL at an exciting time as we celebrate renewed funding from the Corporation for National and Community Service to grow our programming over the next three years. She brings the perfect mix of expertise in program planning and evaluation, project management, and workforce development. We welcome her with tremendous enthusiasm and look forward to great things ahead.

Dear PowerCorps Members & Stakeholders,

It is a real privilege to be joining this incredible team as the new Executive Director for PowerCorpsPHL. I am continually impressed by everything I am learning from staff, corps members, alumni and our many partners, and am inspired by the program's incredibly strong foundation.
I come from a professional background of non-profit management, juvenile justice, adult education and workforce services, which makes the opportunity to lead this team a real culmination of my professional interests and passions. As such, I intend to build on the program's partnerships with an eye towards further strengthening career pathways for our corps members and alumni.  I am thrilled to be here now, and to start digging in - literally, out at sites!  ...and figuratively in EducationWorks' new home at 990 Spring Garden Street.
I welcome all new ideas and feedback from PowerCorpsPHL's many partners and champions.  I look forward to hearing from and working with you as we continue on this important work together!

With gratitude,

Lisa Varon
Executive Director of PowerCorpsPHL
