Highlight of the Week
Dr. Maldonado Greene attended the Council on Undergraduate Research Conference in Washington, DC last week and then traveled up the East Coast to visit two USD students conducting research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) this summer:
Estefania Martinez Valdivia, a rising Senior in Chemistry & Biochemistry, is conducting research on vaccine development in the Kiessling Laboratory in the Department of Chemistry at MIT.
Timothy Holdsworth, a rising Senior in Math, is conducting research on data science in the Center for Bits and Atoms in the Media Lab at MIT.

Join the Office of Undergraduate Research and the Career Development Center on Friday, July 27th for a LinkedIn session and head shots! From 9 - 10 AM in SCST 133, bring your laptop to learn how to create or improve your LinkedIn account. From 10 - 11 AM our photographer will be taking head shots for your LinkedIn profile. You must RSVP and sign up for a headshot time slot to participate. Breakfast will be provided!
The Office of Undergraduate Research is now located in rooms 100N and 100L in the trailer in the parking lot between the School of Law and Pardee Legal Research Center buildings (buildings 30 and 23 on the campus map).
