Mom's Night Out
Our wonderful friends at Wesley United Methodist Church have done it again! On July 8 they hosted yet another fantastic “Mom’s Night Out” for the women in our “My Baby and Me” classes. After a delicious meal of pork roast, Julie Chambers taught everyone some clever sewing and mending tricks. Then each woman got to “make and take” an adorable pin cushion on top of a Mason jar, which they filled with buttons and other sewing notions. We are so grateful to the Wesley United Methodist Women’s Group for their continued support of our young moms!

In 2019, 49 babies have been born
to women who were served at
St. Joseph PRC.

My Baby & Me Classes
Weekly prenatal classes include DVD lessons about pregnancy, infant care,
and parenting skills.
The classes provide mentoring and spiritual guidance.

This year, 51 women have attended classes!

Any pregnant woman may contact

GOOD NEWS!
The St. Joseph PRC is proud to announce that clinic appointments will now be offered in Cameron, MO!
Since Monday, August 12, 2019, Willowbrook Women’s Center has begun offering no-cost services to women in the Cameron, MO area who find themselves in a crisis pregnancy. Appointments are offered on Monday afternoons. What does this mean? It means that women in Cameron, and the areas surrounding Cameron, will have an opportunity to get the critical information they need before making a final decision about their pregnancy outcome. We are now accepting appointments online and by phone!

Our location is River of Life Church, 811 S. Walnut, Cameron, MO. Though temporary, this location is conducive to quick set up and teardown. No construction changes or cosmetic changes were necessary in order to begin offering clinic services. The area of the church which we are using was formerly a real estate office and gives our “Cameron” clinic a professional feel. A quick trip in a U-Haul (and several strong men) was all that was needed to make our dream a reality. We are already looking forward to the day when we have our very own facility, medical staff, and volunteers from Cameron in place, so we can expand our availability to more than just a Monday afternoon! (Please be praying about this.)

Thank you Pastor Dave Nixdorf (River of Life Church), Pastor Ken Gazaway (First Baptist Church of Cameron), and Pat O’Connor (St. Munchin Parish) who have been such an encouragement and support to the St. Joseph PRC during the months spent trying to find the right “home.” We couldn’t be more grateful for all of you as we look forward to a long friendship with the people of Cameron.

Libby Owens, St. Joseph PRC Executive Director, receives a donation from Grace Voga. Grace will be a Freshman this fall at St. Joseph Christian School.

Our Hope and Future
Reviving the Sanctity of Life Worldview

Sometimes youth get a bad rap, but we can’t lump them all into one “no-good, no-hope” pile and wring our hands. There are excellent examples of young people in each generation who truly want to make a difference for the glory of God. Furthermore, when young people learn the truth about the issues of the day, many of them actually want to take action. This is true when it comes to the topic of abortion.
Moved by the video trailer of the movie “Unplanned,” Grace Voga immediately decided to do something. She decided to ask her friends, of all ages, to support and make a contribution to the St. Joseph PRC. Ultimately, Grace collected over $130 in donations to go toward the work of helping women in crisis pregnancies choose life. Grace said that she is pro-life because God speaks to this issue in His Word, and “it’s a life from conception.”
Special thanks to our Banquet Sponsors: Freudenthal Home Health, Interstate Battery, St. Joseph Self Storage, and Jackie Watts Accounting.
Banquet Partners include AR Workshop, Ehrhardts Jefferson City, LLC

Tax Credit Update

Each year, St. Joseph Pregnancy Resource Clinic is given a predetermined amount of tax credits at the State's discretion. These tax credits are good for a 50% value of your monetary donation to our center, with a minimum of $100 donated within a 12 month period. We are given a limited amount of these tax credits, and we distribute them on a first-come, first-serve basis. We are currently accepting donor names for 2019 tax credits.  If you are interested in being added to our 2019 tax credit donor list, please contact Emily at 816-387-8090.
