Message From the Chair

It has been a privilege and a challenge to lead the Colorado Women's Hall of Fame for the last two years. It has been an exciting time for our Board who are dedicated to expanding the legacies of our Inductees. As in all challenges, it has been a team effort. I am so grateful to be able to hand off the reins to Deborah Radman , our new Board Chair and Barb Beckner, our new Vice Chair.

100 Years of Suffrage, 100 Years of Progress

Colorado, along with the nation, is celebrating 100 years of women’s suffrage this year (even though Colorado women, of course, won the vote in 1893, thanks to some of the trailblazing women in the Hall!). CWHF is marking this honor by participating in an event with the Molly Brown House on September 5 and by partnering with the Center for Colorado Women’s History on an essay contest for Grade 3-8 students (due September 20!).

Congratulations to our Emmy-Award Winning Film Team! We are thrilled to announce that An Incest Survivor’s Odyssey , a CWHF film about Marilyn Van Derbur’s groundbreaking advocacy, won a Heartland Emmy® Award.
