The GLCEDC approved a joint $8,000 Community Enhancement and Economic Stimulus Grant to Woodland High School and Streator High School for the Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship's program CEO (Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities). The CEO program recruits community mentors that work with students to help facilitate student learning while allowing students to make connections with various community and business leaders in the process.

Before the program starts next fall, the schools need to collect donations from local businesses and set up speakers and mentors for the class. If your business would like to participate in this program, please click the link below.
