A Message from our Chief Talent Officer
Dover Federal Credit Union is a place that values Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. We understand that in order to grow, we need to employ people of different backgrounds and ethnicities. When each employee brings their individual authentic thoughts to the table, it creates a more innovative and welcoming environment that creates a broad perspective. We have seen and learned that publicly celebrating differences directly benefits our employees and members. Two key takeaways here have been:
-
When employees feel like they have a voice and are empowered and respected, it creates a trust and a sense of belonging within our organization.
- From a business perspective, the more people feel this trust and belonging, the more innovative they are, the more they use their creativity, and the more productive they’ll be, while creating a diverse portfolio of products and service to meet the needs of our members.
How are we becoming a more inclusive organization? We are actively committed to ensuring we hear the voice of the employees, understand the different views how to enhance our service culture; keeping in mind the diversity of “you” our members. Our goal is to create the best products and services that will help you get there, wherever that might be. We are restructuring our training, to ensure our staff is able to identify and take ownership of your individual needs, making your financial experience with Dover Federal Credit Union one to remember.
