Dear friends,
The 2022 summer solstice continues to brighten opportunities for emergent leaders all over Latin America as Georgetown University Latin America Leadership Program (LALP) just opened the call for applications for the 17th edition of its Global Competitiveness Leadership Program, GCL 2023 with new and expanded eligibility for Caribbean applicants and new project options. In addition, LALP continues to accept applications for the 9th edition of its program of Innovation and Leadership in Government/Innovación y Liderazgo en Gobierno, ILG 2022. Deadlines are quickly approaching, so if you are interested or know someone who may benefit from our flagship programs, here you can find more information about these annual offerings.
As we get ready to close our academic and fiscal year, on behalf of everyone at LALP, I want to thank the members of the Georgetown University Latin American Board, the LALP Advisory Committee, and our generous donors who continue to make our mission possible as we strive to educate, connect and inspire emergent leaders across the region. Moreover, I want to celebrate the many institutions that have partnered with us this last semester to present a new offer of innovative custom programs for audiences across Latin America: Secretaria General de la Alcaldía Mayor de Bogotá, Leading Education, CAROLA, and the Camara de Centros de Formación Profesional de El Salvador. The growing reach of LALP custom offerings reinforces our purpose allowing us to serve new communities and better respond to the specific needs and challenges of the region, overall.
Together we are laying the ground for the next agents of change from Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Americas. Thank you for being there as we get ready to celebrate 25 generations of LALP alumni and continue to build the road ahead with your continued partnership and support.
Enjoy the Summer!
