Training Reminders

Please remember that to receive credit for a training session you must:

  • Attend the session (this is verified by the training attendance report)
  • Be active in the chat of that session (this is verified by reviewing the saved chat)
  • Be PRE-Registered through CCRN

If attending a CCRN webinar rather than a statewide webinar, you can participate by either being active in the chat, unmuting yourself and speaking, and/or keeping your camera on. You must participate in some way, or you will not receive credit.

If you share the link to a session with your co-worker who has not pre-registered through CCRN, we will not know how to look for them in the attendance report and the chat, and they will not receive credit for the session in ORO.

If you have attended a training session and have not received credit, please feel free to contact us at CCRN and we can look into this further for you!

To register for a training session please click the link below to register through our online registration form or you can call the CCRN training request line at 541-776-6768.

Please reach out with any questions you may have! You can reach CCRN's Main Office Number at 541-776-8590 x1126.

Updates Directly From Licensing

Effective July 1, 2025, Certified and Registered Family Child Care will be operating from new rule sets. Each Family Child Care program should have received a printed copy of the new rule book in the mail. If you have not received your rule book yet, please reach out to your Licensing Specialist so they can provide you with one.

To support us all as we transition and learn the revised rule set, DELC is creating an informational video series that provides an overview of the new rules, explains key features, and highlights major changes. The videos will be 5-15 minutes in length, so they can be watched individually when it is most convenient for you and your staff. Be on the look out for the notification when this video series goes live!

We have also created a document that outlines some of the major changes in each section. Neither the video series nor Summary of Rule Changes document are comprehensive, and you will still need to read the rulebook to familiarize yourself with all the updates and additions.

We understand this is a major change and will take some time to fully digest the updated rules. Your Licensing Specialist will support you over the course of the new year to ensure that you come into compliance. You will not be issued a noncompliance immediately if you are out of compliance on an updated rule, you will be given a realistic timeframe to implement the change.

Please contact your Licensing Specialist with any questions or concerns you have while reading the updated rulebook and watching the YouTube videos. We are here to help!

Remember to double check your cleaning products!

Chemicals found in cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting products can be hazardous to health if they are not used properly. Children are particularly vulnerable to potential health effects from chemicals in these products. Please be sure you are using each product per the instructions on the label. Oregon Health Authority has created a toolkit with articles and videos to support in the safe and proper use of these products.
