Sally's Alley East End - COMPLETE!

THANK YOU Park Commission for the tenacious work improving Sally’s Alley! Thank you to Park Commissioner Jim Bugbee for his blood, sweat and tears acquiring ~ $100,000 of plantings for the Alley AND transplanting them, nurturing them and seeding/reseeding/reseeding again the lush carpet of grass…and on and on! Thank you to Chair Carolyn Whittlesey for your leadership and home run project! What a fabulous Town asset we ALL are enjoying.

If your children are riding through the alley on their e-bikes on or off the trail, please REMIND THEM to walk past pedestrians and to STAY OFF THE NEW GRASS and plantings. We have seen serious vandalism lately from a few e-bikes. NOT COOL.

Egg Hunt

We give a HUGE THANK YOU to Amy and Paige Pellegrini for stepping up once again to spearhead our annual Egg Hunt!! We couldn’t have done it without you and the many volunteers who assisted and those who donated pre-filled eggs.

94th/NE40th St/NE 38th Underground Conversion Project - COMPLETE!

We thank you for your patience for two-years of construction! The utilities are now underground which not only provides a cleaner look, but mitigates the possibility of power outages in windstorms. The Grind and Overlay of new street surfaces on 94th, 40th and 38th will take place starting August 26th through ~ September 5th. Thank you for your patience. We are in the Homestretch!

Flashing Stop Signs at Intersection of 92nd & NE 40th St.

In response to many reports of near misses between vehicles and bicyclists from vehicles/bikes/scooters running the stop signs at the intersection of 92nd and NE 40th St., several flashing signs with motions sensors were installed. Already we have seen a decrease in vehicles running through the intersection. Non-residents will have no excuse. Thank you to everyone for observing the safety protocols in our neighborhood.

92nd Ave NE Sidewalk Paving - COMPLETE!

The 92nd Ave NE Pathway Repair Project consisted of removing the existing NaturalPave pathway material to extend the colored concrete sidewalk. This project has been done in stages in the past several years. This was the final stage and now pathway is fully paved.

Unlicensed Solicitors

The warm weather of spring in Western Washington is upon us! The nice weather tends to bring with it an increase in solicitor activity throughout the Points communities.

The Clyde Hill Police Department asks for your help in ensuring that soliciting in Yarrow Point is conducted lawfully and appropriately. We ask that you call 911 immediately if you witness or experience the following behavior:

•          Solicitors are not permitted to approach entryways and front doors of residences with "No Solicitor" signs clearly posted.

•          When asked to leave, solicitors must leave your property immediately.

•          Like any visitor to your home, a solicitor must not become hostile or aggressive.

•          Solicitors may only approach and access "common curtilage" areas of your home, meaning they may not access areas not normally accessed by mail carriers or food delivery workers.

Solicitors are required to apply for and exhibit an approved permit through City of Clyde Hill Police Department while soliciting in the Town of Yarrow Point.

Ask to see the permit if it is not visible - it looks like the above image.

If a solicitor at your residence cannot show you their valid permit, please contact the CHPD by calling 911 so they may attempt to contact the solicitor. Peddler Hours are 10:00 am – 4:00 pm daily.

As always, if you see something suspicious, please report what you are observing by calling 911. Be as descriptive as possible to the dispatcher. Suspicious behavior or activity does not always indicate malintent or crime, but your observations can make a difference by helping deter, prevent or respond to a crime.

Thank you.

New Residential Construction Projects:

Thank you for your patience!

There are several new construction, remodel and addition projects happening around the town. We appreciate your patience as trucks make deliveries to these private construction projects and there is more traffic. The Town enforces ON SITE parking for private construction projects and citations are given to violators.

"Dirt & Doughnuts"

Park Commission Community Clean Up Day!

Thank you to all who showed up and made "Dirt & Doughnuts" a success! Thank you to the Park Commissioners including Nancy Daltas, Jim Bugbee, Carolyn Whittlesey, Robert Afzal for inspiring community members to participate! We filled many cans and bags of yard waste at Road End Beach, our Town Entry, NE Points Drive and Town Hall/Morningside Park. These areas look beautiful and we all appreciate everyone's time and effort!
