***OPEN BOARD POSITIONS***

Below you will see the open positions and their descriptions. Let me reassure you this is not something you need experience to do. This board is such a great team and will help guide you along as you develop your leadership skills. There will be a retreat in July where all the board members will get together for a few hours and make plans for the upcoming year. When I first inquired about joining a few years back, I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but I have transitioned from newsletter chair, to President Elect, to the upcoming President. I have learned and grown so much professionally since joining and would love to have you join us. If you have any questions, feel free to email myself or current president, April Meras, and we would be happy to talk to you about ways you could serve on our chapter board. And yes, you absolutely CAN nominate yourself! -All my best, Lindsey

President Elect- The president-elect performs the duties of the president in the president’s absence or inability to act. When serving in this capacity, the president-elect has all the powers and is subject to all restrictions placed upon the president. Fulfills special projects as requested by the president or the executive board.

Newsletter/Communications Chair- Manages all chapter communications to keep members engaged and maintains a strong social media presence.

CE Chair- The CEU/program chair plans and coordinates continuing education meetings for the chapter through the year. The chair presides over the program committee and facilitates the logistics of the event including: location, registration, speaker management, food/beverage, audio/visual and marketing/promotion of the programs. The CE chair works in coordination with the chapter officers and membership to determine the educational needs of the chapter.
