Words when chanted create a powerful vibration in the body transforming the body and spirit.

Neuropsychological testing shows improved visuospatial memory, increased connectivity, and improved verbal memory.




Research has found that Kirtan can significantly reduce depression and improve chronic pain. The left pre-frontal cortex, which is our FEEL GOOD center grows in size with this breath work.

Lets stand in solidarity to celebrate the holy breath of sound!!!

Keeping Your Lungs Healthy!



In any given day, but especially when the camp fires are burning all around us, protecting the lungs is essential to a healthy breath.

The lungs work with the colon and large intestine to eliminate. The strength of both these systems is connected to our overall immunity.

Yoga and other forms of exercise can be pivital to bring increased breathing capacity to the lungs by strengthening the muscles that support lung function.

Foods such as coffee, dark greens, fatty fish, peppers, tomatoes, olive oil, oysters, blueberries and pumpkin just to mention a few, all show scientific benefit to lung function. Its about the balance of life and eating to live in order to support the organic. Our internal organs need a little LOVE too!!!

A SUMMER DETOX RECIPE

 A big part of balance is what we put into the body. Disease is rampid in a world of processed foods and forever chemicals. One of my friends, Kimberly Knox, who is a trailblazer of BIOENERGETIC COOKING recently gave me this GREEN WARRIOR LIVER RESET SMOOTHIE recipe. It is full of healthy fibers that are easily digestible, as well as fats and protein to detox the liver and blood.

This is one of the most comprehensive smoothies I have come across and I might add that the results are so promising many of her clients report cancer free diagnosis! I will say this... her vitality is dramatic! Her eyes sparkle, her skin glows and her happy outward glow and NRG are boundless!


Simply add all the ingredients to a blender and add. Use organic fruits and vegetables whenever possible.

Ingredients:

-4 cups filtered water ice cubes
-1/2 cup Pure Aloe Vera Juice
-1 cup each - Coconut water & Filtered Water
-4 cups mixed greens: kale, watercress, spinach, dandelion
-Handful of parsley or cilantro
-1 medium green apple or 1 cup fresh cut pineapple
-1 avocado peeled and pitted
-1 whole lemons-trim ends and quarter

Superfood Must Haves: add some or all!

-1 T chia seeds
-1 T fresh ground flaxseed
-1 tsp Moringa Powder
-1 tsp Spirulina
