Another Year of Summer Camp Fun Coming to Town of Fallsburg 

The Boys & Girls Clubs are excited to partner with the Town of Fallsburg to operate the Town of Fallsburg Summer Day Camp at Morningside Park.

Fallsburg children will be treated to a variety of great summer activities including swimming, hiking, soccer, softball, arts & crafts, boating, fishing, traditional camp games and much more.  There will also be a number of field trips to some great locations.

Camp will operate for six full weeks this summer. Camp begins on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 and runs through Friday, August 12, 2016. Camp will run from 9:00 am-3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided free of charge through the Summer Nutrition Program. A menu will be provided to the campers on a weekly basis.

Before Camp Boys & Girls Club will be open from 6-9am and After Camp Boys & Girls Club will be available from 3-6pm, on an a la carte basis.

For campers not taking part in Before Camp or After Camp, parents will be able to drop off beginning at 8:45am, and all campers must be picked up by 3:15pm. Campers will not be permitted to walk home, or remain in the park unsupervised after 3;15pm.

Mark Your Calendar for a Litter Pluck on Fallsburg Rail for Trails in May

Fallsburg Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce a Litter Pluck on the Fallsburg Rails to Trails on Saturday May 14 and Sunday May 15.

Bags,gloves and litter grabbers will be available at the O&W Railroad Station in Mountaindale on 11 Railroad Station Rd. from 10:30am to2pm Saturday and 10:30 to 2pm, Sunday.

Bags, gloves and litter grabbers may also be picked up in the Parks and Recreation office at Morningside Park in Hurleyville, from Saturday at 8:30am till 2pm and Sunday from 8:30am until 2pm.

When you pick up your equipment please sign in and let us know which section of the Rails Trails you will be cleaning. Bags should be left at the trail heads or by provided trash receptacles. There will be maps of the Rails Trails available at the O&W Station and the park office.

Free Rabies Clinic at Morningside Park on June 16

The Town of Fallsburg is hosting a Free Rabies Clinic sponsored by the Sullivan County Health Department at the Morningside Park Pavilion by the Lake on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm.  

Inoculations will be given on a First Come, First Served basis only. 

All animals must be contained or leashed. Please bring previous or current rabies certificates if applicable.
