Learn how to become a babysitter! Safe Sitter’s curriculum and trained instructors equip teens with childcare fundamentals, activity planning, and interview skills. At the end of the week you’ll leave with a handbook and be Safe Sitter and CPR Basics.

Camp Fort Nisqually

Discover what life was like at Puget Sound’s first trading post. Look at people and events that shaped the Fort’s history and learn 19th-century skills such as blacksmithing, fire starting and candle making, cooking and more!
Kids Ninja Camps

Campers will build situational awareness while running, jumping, climbing, tumbling, and crawling their way to mobility and agility. They’ll have fun learning how to stay safe by avoiding danger and unsafe people, as well as age-appropriate self-defense techniques to help them gain confidence.

Late Night is a FREE event for teens! Join us at your Community Center for late night fun with your friends. We’ll have pool activities, games, open gym, sports, and much more.

Bring a friend or family member to your neighborhood community center to find out what’s happening, meet the staff, and share your ideas! Your participation will have an impact on future programs and experiences at the center.

There will be free food, ice breaker games, arts activities, a chance to meet center staff in person and group brainstorming on topics like aquatics, youth programs and community center events.

Training is Available!
Due to a nationwide staffing shortage, we do not have the required number of lifeguards to support the extended Rec Swim hours at Eastside Pool. Rec Swim will be reduced by 2 hours on Tuesday and Thursday from 6-7 pm. 

Instead of closing early, we are able to provide Lap Swim and individual exercise time, in lieu of Rec Swim.

This change will take affect through May 29, 2022 (or until we have the appropriate staffing in place).
