IMPORTANT SUMMER CAMP UPDATE
Dear Camp Families,

As you may be aware, Governor Lamont has just announced that licensed summer camps may open on June 29. With this guidance, we regret that we will be cancelling the June 15 and June 22 weeks of summer camp

If you are currently registered for these June weeks of camp , here is what we can offer:

  • A full refund (all refunds will be processed via check).
  • A combination of a refund and a tax-deductible donation to Woodcock Nature Center.
  • Or, please consider donating your full registration fee.

Please use the link at the bottom of this email to indicate your preference. To help us efficiently process your request please use this link rather than emailing or calling. This link is for June registrants only.

Registration exchanges from June into July or August are possible but please know that all PreK-K groups are currently full . Please email us directly with any exchange requests for grades 1-8. We will do our best to accommodate you.

What about camp during July and August?

We are planning for camp! But, adjustments will need to be made to the structure of our offerings in order to meet the rigorous health and safety guidelines outlined by the state as well as our own expectations for an enjoyable and safe camp experience. The Governor has indicated that more specific guidelines will come by May 15. We will be in touch after that date.

Rest assured that if Woodcock Nature Center cancels camp for any reason you will have an opportunity for a full refund. There is no rush to request changes or refunds for July or August. Visit our website for some COVID-19 FAQs about camp and to see our plans to meet health and safety guidelines as they develop.

Please know that we are working thoughtfully, creatively and as quickly as possible to adjust during this unprecedented time . We have a small staff working remotely and it will take us time to process refunds, donations and respond to inquiries. Thank you in advance for your patience.

We know how important Woodcock Nature Center camp is to you and your children and we are committed to keeping our community, staff and campers safe. We are hopeful that we can learn outdoors together in just a few short weeks.

Until then, get outside, get dirty and enjoy the sunshine!

Be well,
