Great Relationships Are Worth Fighting For

God wants your relationships to be more than just fair, average, good, or even great. He wants you to fight to have amazing relationships!

Great relationships cause the world to stand up and take notice, because they are different from many of the dysfunctional relationships all around us. Although healthy relationships aren't automatic or easy, they are worth fighting for.

Through this series, you'll become equipped with the tools to build an awesome marriage, family and friendships.

Parent and Student GroupMe

We have a student and a parent GroupMe account to help keep everyone up to date on what's going on in student ministry. GroupMe is a group texting app that's a great forum for staying connected and asking questions. It can be muted, so you won't get notifications constantly. If you or your student would like to be added, just text or email Nathan at 706-464-7548 and nathan@theridgecolumbus.com.

Summer Theme - Follow Jesus

UPDATE as of June 1, 2021

This summer at RidgeRunners we have a camp theme called "Camp Upstreet". Each Sunday morning is going to be like a day at camp with games, songs and snacks while we learn to follow Jesus.

We have transitioned back to placing students on carpets by grade in the elementary area rather than by family.

We are no longer REQUIRING masks for kids on Sunday morning. Masks will still be worn by staff and volunteers in the preschool and elementary area when interacting closely with kids. If you wish to send your child with a mask, we will support that and require them to wear it while at RidgeRunners. Extra kn-95 masks are available in the greeting area near kid's check-in.

Hi, Parents!
This Summer we're offering both in-person and online RidgeRunners experiences.

In-person
Infants through Toddlers are returning to the classroom upstairs off the Turner Auditorium main hallway and Pre-K through Elementary will continue to meet in the gym. Both groups meet for the full 10:30 a.m. service. Check in at the hallway table just inside the Turner Auditorium doors.

Online
RidgeRunners will post a video on YouTube. Join us for a game, worship video with dance motions, and a great lesson! You can also watch at any time throughout the week after the livestream.

If you're looking for some more online options for children's programming check out:

*Rightnowmedia.org: This is a free video resource for our church. Check out the kids' section (VeggieTales, etc.) and watch with the family! Registration link: click here.

*Ridge resources for Sunday morning activities/lessons. Just in case you missed out this weekend: click here.

Car Talk:
*What does it mean to follow Jesus?
*Who can follow Jesus?
*What could you do to follow Jesus better?

Memory Verse (learn it together):
“If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” Romans 12:18

We are excited to announce that Camp 4:12 is on for
Summer 2021.
June 20-24

We will hold camp on our traditional week beginning on Father's Day-- Sunday, June 20 through Thursday, June 24.

Cost is $240 if deposit paid by April 30. With deposit paid after April 30, cost increases to $285. Initial deposit this year is $30 to reserve your spot.

Camp 4:12 is open to rising 2nd - rising 6th graders.

We would love for you to be a part of this special week! You and your kids will love this awesome experience!

We will be following the state of GA guidelines for camps during COVID-19. Those guidelines are updated twice per month and can be found on GA.gov under executive orders. If camp were to be held today, we would take the following steps. As guidelines are updated these steps may change, and we will update parents accordingly.

1. We will screen all campers and staff for signs of COVID-19 upon arrival and during the week. Screening will include temperature checks.
2. No one who has COVID-19 or symptoms of COVID-19 will be allowed to attend camp without a negative test and no symptoms present at least 48 hours before the start of camp.
2. Food servers will wear masks while serving kids in the cafeteria.
3. We will use the "pods" concept or groups of kids, so we limit the amount of contact kids have with others at camp.
4. Parents will be required to remain in their vehicle during drop-off. (We hope to be able to lift this requirement by the time camp gets here.)
5. We will have a designated quarantine area for campers who show symptoms. If any camper does show symptoms of COVID-19, we will contact you immediately and make arrangements for you to pick up your child. Campers who leave because of symptoms must show proof of a negative test to return.
6. We will maintain distancing between cabins and groups throughout camp and especially when inside.
7. We will practice frequent hand washing and sanitizing.
8. We will clean regularly including and especially bathrooms and the kitchen.
9. Camp visitation will be limited to those volunteers who are necessary for running camp.
