Florence Family YMCA
The Florence Family YMCA offers a Summer Day Camp with all the special activities that make summer fun! This camp is for children entering K-5 through 6th grade. Hours are from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. Camp runs all summer long in weekly sessions. You can choose to come all summer or select certain weeks.
Some of the 2021 weekly themes include Superhero Week, Safari Week, Carnival Week, and Water Extravaganza Week. They will also offer sports camps throughout the summer.

YMCA of the Upper Pee Dee (Hartsville, Darlington, Chesterfield)
Summer Day Camps will run from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. The camp is for children ages 5-12 years old. The program enhances a camper's self-confidence and leadership skills through an emphasis on good sportsmanship, teamwork, and safety. Weekly field trips, character development, daily swimming, breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks are provided.
Specialty Camps such as volleyball, basketball, triathlon training, wrestling, and fishing will be offered at the Hartsville location.

Girls University Summer Camp (Florence, Hartsville, Digital Attendance)
Girls University camps are centered around improving the well-being of girls. They believe in each girl's individuality and intentionally focus on three key areas: creativity, education, and passion. Camp themes and offerings vary by the week and focus on science, technology, engineering, creative arts, and academics. Camps are for girls, rising 5K through 6th grade. Topics include roller coaster engineering, cooking science, career exploration, cosmetic chemistry, robot building, slime tennis lessons & more!

Darlington County Kids Summer Camp
Darlington County Kids Summer Camp will include outdoor games, reading and math activities, arts and crafts. Lunch will be provided. There will also be team-building and interactive games, field trips and many more activities. This camp is for ages 6 to 12 years old.

WinShape Camp
WinShape Camps for Communities brings the ultimate day camp right to your neighborhood, combining fun, faith, and friendship into an action-packed week. Campers completing grades K5-8 cultivate their God-given skills and talents in a mix of indoor and outdoor moments, physical activity, and creative play, with epic adventures at camp all day that will have them sleeping soundly back at home at night. At the end of the week, they serve up a day of fun for the whole family—complete with a yummy lunch from Chick-fil-A. The camp will be held July 26-30 at the First Presbyterian Church of Florence.

L'Flamme Studios
Camp L'Flamme seeks to develop your child in spirit, mind, and body. They offer an action-packed day of activities, learning, places to go, and things to see. The camp runs from June 14 through July 30, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The price includes lunch except for off-campus field trips, two snacks, activities, and crafts.

Polyphony Music Therapy (Lake City)
All camps are held from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday (unless otherwise noted). Please contact Robin M. Parker to register. All abilities are always welcome and no musical experience is needed.
The camp themes include Mini Music Makers, Camp Superstar, Rhythm & Bytes, and A Camping We Will Go.

Florence Little Theatre
The Florence Little Theatre will offer two different camps this year: Acting Up! Summer Camp and
Encore! Summer Camp.
Acting Up! Summer Camp is geared toward theatre, fun, and friendship. Your child will learn through age-appropriate lessons designed to inspire their creativity and ignite their imagination.
Encore! Summer Camp where campers control every aspect of a theatrical production. Over the course of the week, campers will learn about various elements of theatre through an immersive experience that allows them to create original performances.

Coker University Musical Theatre and Dance Intensive Camps
Take advantage of this amazing opportunity to immerse yourself in the Coker University Program – you will live in dorms on campus, eat in the dining hall, take classes with Coker University faculty and guest artists, and marvel at how much you have grown as an artist in just one week! Not able to attend in person? Zoom options are available. The camp is from July 26-July 30.

Driven by Dance Studio (Quinby)
Join Driven by Dance for their Summer Dance Camp. For ages: 3-12. The camp is Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided. The activities include math, reading, games, and dance.

Florence County Museum
Summer Studios is a unique summer program for children and teens. Each week-long session begins on Monday focusing on a specific theme and ends each Friday with an exhibit of student works along with a reception for families and friends. Space is limited to 10 students per session. Camps run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The camps are The Science of Art, Terrific Textiles, Crazy for Clay, and Super Sculptures.

SC Governor's School for Science & Mathematics
The SC Governors School of Science and Mathematics is offering several camps this summer. They offer virtual camps, day camps and various residential camps. Residential camp Courses include Pre-Med & Anatomy, Science and the Law, Codes & Cryptography, Graphic Design, Astrophysics, and more. The day camp topics include taking on the role of NASA engineers or exploring the world of microcontrollers, electronics, and circuits through Arduino technology.

Summer Tennis Camps are for boys and girls ages 8-18 from beginners to high-performance players. Topics may include: parts of the court, scoring, stroke production, court positioning and ball placement for both singles and doubles, games, match play, and short format tournaments. Each session will last Mondays-Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Moore Farms offers a variety of summer camps for kids ages 5 to 18. Most of the camps are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

RiverRat's (Scranton)
RiverRat's Adventure Camp teaches youths proper kayak and canoe techniques. Campers will learn paddle strokes, how to get out of tough situations and how to help others when they are in difficult situations on the river. Activities include kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, hiking, swimming, nature exploration, wildlife observation, scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, game warden guest speakers, and much more! The camp is Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and lunch is provided.

Kalmia Gardens of Coker College (Hartsville)
Week in the Wild is a great way for your child to have a safe, fun, hands-on learning experience in a natural environment. The program is open to rising 1st through 6th graders. Nature study, arts and crafts, hikes, and games are just some of the activities they have planned for these not-so-lazy summer mornings. Clemson Extension Summer Camps
Clemson Extension offers two camp options this year.
4-H2O Summer Day Camp is a water-based science day camp giving students, ages 9-14, the opportunity to learn about and explore the Pee Dee Region's water resources.
A traditional 4-H Overnight Summer Camp offers traditional overnight camp activities with plenty of fun, friends, and adventure! Activities include swimming and canoeing, nature hikes, archery, nightly skits and games, dance, a talent show, and more!

Girl Scouts Summer Camp
The Girl Scouts Summer camp takes place at Sandy Ridge in Bennettsville Sunday through Friday. Camps are for girls in 1st through 12th grades. Girls do not have to be Girl Scouts to attend. There are several weeks to choose from. Check out the camp brochure here.

Fork Retch Wildlife Refuge (Mullins)
Wildlife Action Adventure Camp is a week of outdoor experiences to raise awareness about the conservation of our natural resources, nurture an appreciation of wildlife, and teach stewardship of the good Earth. Each summer children ages 6-16 are invited to experience a variety of adventure camps at Fork Retch Wildlife Refuge on the Little Pee Dee River.
