Get outside, go explore, and try something new this summer with events designed for everyone! We've got a new line up of hands-on programs for kids, a nature-themed book club, outings for active seniors, future park previews, night hikes, volunteer opportunities and more! It's not too late to snag a spot in our week-long summer camps.

Make a splash at Spring Lake
|

And kayak and paddleboard rentals are available on the lake 10:15 a.m.-7 p.m. daily. Reserve a boat or a board online. Walk-up rentals are an option, too, if boats are available.

Sonoma Burger Snack Shack is open at the swimming lagoon! The Snack Shack serves burgers, hot dogs, vegan options, slushees, beer and wine. Open noon-7 p.m. weekends and daily by mid-June.

Spud Point Marina and Mason's Marina are offering slips for rent on Bodega Harbor, with options available in sizes of 30-, 40-, 44-, 48-, and 60-feet. For inquiries, call the Spud Point Marina office at (707) 875-3535. Amenities include electrical service, a free waste pump-out station and a fuel dock offering gas, diesel and ice.

The western snowy plover, a small shorebird found at Doran Regional Park, is federally protected due to its declining numbers caused by climate change and human disturbance. Snowy plover nesting season runs through the summer, and you can help this little bird thrive by practicing responsible recreation when visiting Sonoma Coast beaches.

Walk in the Park: Gualala
Join us for a leisurely stroll through coastal prairie, wetlands, beach and bluff trails on Saturday, June 10, 9-10 a.m. at Gualala Point Regional Park. Learn about whales, the San Andreas fault, Siberians, cougars, bumblebees, eagles and more. No registration required. More information.

Pride Water Park Play
On Tuesday, June 10, 3:15-5:30 p.m., bring a picnic and come play at Spring Lake Regional Park's Water Park! This space provided for LGBTQIA2S+ people to explore the natural world and themselves, while building relationships of support and encouragement, with a focus on physical, emotional and mental wellness. Registration required.

Winging it Wednesdays
Enjoy a leisurely all-levels bird walk at Riverfront Regional Park on Wednesday, June 28, 8:30-10:30 a.m. These outings are designed for older adults to enjoy nature, each other’s company and the unique avian friends found at each park. No registration required. More information.
