There is no getting board when you are creative!
Thank you to Bill Turville, MCA tenant artist John Doyle, all our partners at LexZeroWaste and countless volunteers for making this year's parade float! This "wish-cycling" sculpture has wings made from 500 (non-recyclable) chips bags and now lives on our front lawn.
A special shout-out to one of our newest tenant artists, Amantha Tsaros, for sparking discussion on Process & Purpose at last week's artist social (more photos on social media)

A new spring sculpture!

While we wait for the pollinator garden to fill out, a new mobile is decorating the space.

"Stabiles" are fun to build and easy to do - grab some pipe cleaners or wire and some paper, and do a little online research on mobiles, or "stabiles art"

If you like to sew, we could use your help!

Our beloved flags (see image below) are faded and torn!

The task at hand is a straightforward one of getting material and sewing a slot for the flagpole.

Email us if you can help!
Like to garden?

When the weeds overpower the art, we know we need help!

This is a perfect opportunity for anyone who finds themselves hanging around the center, and who loves to dig and make things beautiful.

Get ready for the 10th annual ArtWalk!

Submissions for the Lexington Center Fall Artwalk are open now through the summer. Artists are invited to submit one application for up to 3 pieces of art. Artwork of all sizes and mediums (painting, drawings, photographs, sculptures) will be considered. In light of Artwalk's 10th anniversary and the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington, we encourage pieces that highlight life in our community.
