"The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest."
~ Luke 10:2

Statement of Cardinal Blase J. Cupich, archbishop of Chicago, on the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization
Today (June 24, 2022), the U.S. Supreme Court issued its ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturns the court’s tragic 1973 decision that removed legal protection for unborn children. We welcome this important ruling and the opportunity it creates for a national conversation on protecting human life in the womb and promoting human dignity at all stages of life. This moment should serve as a turning point in our dialogue about the place an unborn child holds in our nation, about our responsibility to listen to women and support them through pregnancies and after the birth of their children, and about the need to refocus our national priorities to support families, particularly those in need.

Weekly Bulletin
Currently we are printing a condensed bulletin, but we have lots to share. You can still read the complete bulletin online any time.
Eucharistic Adoration
Please note, during Priests' Convocation, we will not have our Weekly Holy Hour with Adoration and Reconciliation at Queen of the Rosary tonight, Wednesday, June 29th.

This Friday, July 1st is First Friday. We invite all the faithful to drop by and spend some quiet time with Our Lord on this day. Adoration begins immediately following daily Mass at St. Julian and continues until the Closing Benediction at 11:45am.
First Saturday Devotions
At Fatima, Our Lady asked us to go to confession, receive Holy Communion, recite five decades of the Rosary and keep her company for fifteen minutes while meditating on the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary. If we do this on the First Saturday of five consecutive months, Our Blessed Mother has promised to assist with all the graces necessary for salvation at the hour of death.

We know Sunday is the day we set aside for Our Lord, but do you have an hour on the First Saturday of the month to spend with His Mother, Our Blessed Mother? Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament has begun First Saturday Devotions again immediately following Mass at QR on the first Saturday of the month. We're looking for Ministry Groups to take turns leading the Rosary and providing fellowship (breakfast light bites and maybe some coffee) on the First Saturday of each month.
This Saturday, July 2nd is First Saturday. The Rosary will be led by Mrs. Uhlarik and begins immediately following daily Mass at Queen of the Rosary.

Please follow this link to sign a Ministry Group up to lead the rosary and provide fellowship. We can't wait to see you on the First Saturday of the month!

Our next Supper will be Thursday, July 7th and we'll be serving a hearty summer cold plate of chicken salad, fruit and cottage cheese.

Fr. Dan and the Parish Council are bringing back the Parish Picnic! Where will we host this event? What will we serve? What activities will we enjoy? We need YOU to help answer these questions and more!

Our kick-off meeting is on Monday, July 11th at 7pm in Shea Hall to begin planning this event. ALL are invited!

Healing Mass
"The Lord is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, forgiving iniquity and transgression, but he will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, to the third and the fourth generation."
–Numbers 14:18

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament family and friends on Friday, July 22nd at 7pm at St. Julian Eymard Church (601 Biesterfield Road, Elk Grove Village, IL). for Healing of the Family Tree & General Physical Healing.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with the Eucharist is the most powerful means of healing intergenerational iniquity and transgression referred to in scripture.
