Introducing Our New PJ Library Engagement Specialist
Anna Burnstein
Hello PJ Library families. I am so excited to be a part of this wonderful program. Ever since I was able to turn the pages of a book and listen to a story, books have had a special place in my heart. Through books I could learn about anything, travel to lands far away and see the world from a different perspective. As a PJ Library parent, it is truly wonderful to see my 18-month-old son sit down and quietly flip through his books. During this time of uncertainty while we are separated from our friends and family, story time has become even more important at our house. As we approach the High Holidays knowing that we won’t be able to celebrate in the usual ways, we can teach our kids about the meaning of these holidays through the stories that we share with them. Stories, after all, are the way that tradition gets passed down from one generation to the next. I look forward to getting to know you ‘virtually’ for now and in person (hopefully) soon.
