Summer Edition - School Facilities Funding

School Facilities Funding 101

Understanding how public school facilities are funded can be a complex topic, but we've made it easy for you! 🏫 💰

Check out our new School Facility Funding 101 video to learn about the four key funding "buckets" school districts have. 🎥 Understanding school funding is crucial for supporting our students and community.✨

PPEL Vote Coming

For 50 years, the community has supported our District's PPEL (Physical Plant and Equipment Levy). This levy is the primary source of funding for urgent and ongoing maintenance and repairs of our facilities, equipment, and vehicles.

On September 10, 2024, voters will have the opportunity to renew the existing PPEL for another 10 years. Renewing this levy will NOT increase your property tax rate.

Annual Verification is Underway

Annual Verification for the 2024-2025 school year is now available through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. ALL CRCSD families must complete Annual Verification each year to help us plan for classroom assignments and transportation needs. This is also where you can update emergency contact information, complete yearly eligibility for reduced school fees, qualify for district transportation, and complete yearly student release forms. Complete your verification to ensure a smooth start to the new school year!

  • Update family/student contact information to ensure you receive timely communication from the district and in case of emergencies.
  • Update consent forms for field trips, photo releases, and technology use.
  • Update eligibility for reduced school fees.
  • Upload vaccination and sports physical forms.
