Summer Event Survey Results

Two surveys were circulated; one to members, and the second to our full email list. The majority of members, friends and event attendees are ready for an outside, in-person event. However a significant number remain reluctant to commit to in-person networking.

A restaurant with an outdoor patio is the preferred venue by an overwhelming majority. And given our recent July weather, we must add the requirement for a roof over our heads.

Preferred location resulted in a tie between Waltham/Lexington area and Boston/Cambridge.
Conclusion: Given the recent uptick in COVID cases in July, we are pushing out our plans for an in-person outdoor event to later in the Summer.
Boston Women Connect will continue to host Zoom events, even as in-person events are introduced. Your safety and health are paramount, and the reported infection rates in our area will be closely watched as we plan future events. Given the recent slight uptick in cases, we are cautiously planning this in-person, outdoor event for August.
