June 2019
Summer Events Season Starts Now!
June in Brampton is loaded with fun events for all ages. Celebrate the unofficial kick-off to summer at the Brampton Farmers’ Market Opening Day on June 15. Come out between 7 am and 1 pm for live music by local performers, family activities, gardening tips, local produce and hand-made goods. The Farmers’ Market will continue every Saturday until October 12.

Celebrate Brampton’s diversity at a series of events recognizing some of the cultural groups that help our city to thrive. Brampton will recognize Italian Heritage Month (June 9), Philippine Heritage Month (June 13), and Portuguese Heritage Month (June 15) with traditional cuisine, performances and cultural information. Celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day in Garden Square on June 21 with ceremony, storytelling, and performances, presented by The Indigenous Network.

This is just the beginning of Brampton’s summer events! Visit our Events Calendar for more information on these and other exciting community and cultural celebrations.
