MOSQUITO FOGGING

Mosquito control is an ongoing concern in our area. South Woodland Hills, North Woodland Hills, and the Woodland Hills Trail Association have joined together in a mosquito spraying program to help battle the pesky insects. The three organizations have hired the same licensed contractor. They will use EPA approved products calibrated specifically for mosquito control throughout the trails, parks, and residential streets. The entire area will be sprayed at the same time, four times a months, March through November.

TIPS TO PROTECT AGAINST MOSQUITOES

* Eliminate standing water on your property.
* Wear long sleeves and pants, especially from dusk to dawn.
* Apply insect repellent. (Read instructions carefully)
* Encourage your children not to play near drainage ditches or in densely shaded areas where mosquitos are known to breed.
