2021-22 Campaign season is wrapping up, with many companies having used a mix of digital and paper campaign options. The 2020-2021 Impact Highlights is still available for new and returning donors to view.

Summer Fan Drive
Help our community stay cool during the hot days of summer!
United Way of Central Texas is collecting fans that will be distributed to partner agencies in our community. The fan drive is intended to assist the elderly, and low-income individuals and families without air conditioning or with medical conditions stay cool and comfortable during the hot summer months.

Want to donate financially? Text FANDRIVE2022 to 41444 OR click the link below to make a monetary donation to the summer fan drive. All funds will be used to purchase fans to distribute to UWCT partner agencies.
VITA - Volunteer Income Tax Assistance
Free Tax Appointments: Open now through April 16th!
The VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Program is up and running this tax season with locations in Temple, Belton, Killeen, and Harker Heights.

Appointments are FREE (no hidden costs or fees) for individuals and families whose household income is $55,000 or less.
If the UWCT VITA program is unable to assist you, you may qualify for another FREE tax preparation online software, My Free Taxes (MyFreeTaxes.com).
Read Across America Day
Volunteer Recap
National Read Across America Day is an annual reading, motivation, and awareness effort that calls for every child to celebrate reading on March 4th.

UWCT partnered with local companies/organizations and individual volunteers who celebrated the joy and love of reading with elementary school students across the Central Texas area.

The United Way of Central Texas 2-1-1 Helpline is free and confidential, and available 24 hours, 365 days a year. 2-1-1 is staffed by trained specialists who can find real answers for callers as they work the most comprehensive social services database in the state of Texas.
