NEW IBERIA, La. -- Come out on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Teche Ridge Central Park for a summer farmers and artisans market with a community atmosphere.
Visit the gorgeous showcase home and other newly constructed homes for sale. Stroll through the farmers market, enjoy the food truck, arts and crafts vendors, live music, DJ's Crazy Sno and more. An updated list of vendors is available on the Teche Ridge Facebook page. This event is sponsored by Teche Ridge, LLC, Lawnscapes, Quality Plus Insurance and Bayou Paints.
Teche Ridge sits right outside the southeastern edge of the city of New Iberia. It is the first traditional neighborhood development of its kind in Iberia Parish designed by Steve Oubre of Architect's Southwest.
Oubre also designed Sugar Mill Pond in Youngsville and River Ranch in Lafayette, La. All of these neighborhoods are designed with walkability in mind. Community parks, restaurants, retail shops, tree-lined sidewalks and events like this farmers market are an essential part of creating an enhanced quality of living in the neighborhood. The first home was completed and sold in the summer of 2016 with four to sell and many lots to choose from.
The showcase home is open seven days a week, Monday to Friday from noon - 5 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 1 - 4 p.m.
