At the Culver's event earlier this month, I heard a fun story from a Family Sharing friend named Diane. She's a knitter and made a sweater a few years ago that she was so proud of - but didn't love wearing. There was nothing wrong with it; it just didn't fit her quite right.
Diane donated the sweater to Family Sharing’s Resale Boutique, where she regularly shops. When she noticed it wasn’t in the store, she thought it would be funny if she saw someone out and about wearing it.
Well… it happened! One day at the Grafton Yarn Store, Diane overheard a woman named Carol talking about the sweater she was wearing and how much she loved it. To Diane's surprise, it was her sweater. Even more amazing? They knew each other—they had knitted together at the store before!
It makes perfect sense that another knitter would understand and appreciate the work and care that went into creating such a treasure. Diane is thrilled: she has more space in her closet, Family Sharing raised money for our mission, and Carol now has a sweater she loves.
What a joy to see another way that Family Sharing has a positive ripple in our community!
