Library News

Shelf Life

Wow, what a journey we've taken over the past three weeks exploring the history and future of the St. Michaels Branch! This week let's hop to the present and highlight an incredibly special initiative at the Library right now - collecting donations for our furry friends at Talbot Humane!

What initially started as a partnership with the Talbot County Department of Emergency Services in support of Pet Preparedness Month has grown into an extended donation drive. This year has brought an influx of kittens to our local shelter, and our friends over at Talbot Humane could use some added help caring for these little cuties! All donations will be taken to Talbot Humane as they're received, and the drop-off box is in the Lobby of the Easton Branch.

While you're here, check out some of our popular titles about pet adoption!

Have a story or memory you'd like to share? Send us an email at librarymemories@tcfl.org - anonymous submissions accepted also!
