Hello St. Gabriel Families,

As we get closer to the beginning of the school year, many exciting things are happening.  We continue working behind the scenes to prepare for the upcoming school year.  Please see the information below to read about the latest St. Gabriel news.

Welcome to St. Gabriel

Welcome to Our New Families:

Our school family continues to grow. Our current enrollment is 133. We are still accepting registrations and giving school tours.

If you know of any families interested, please direct them to either the school website for a link to schedule a tour or they can email me directly at [email protected].

Please join us in welcoming this new family to our school family:

  1. Jordan and Kristina Bladecki - Their son, Maverick, will be in K4.

In addition to the bi-monthly Gazette (monthly during the summer), we have a private St. Gabriel parent page on Facebook which we share information about what is going on at St. Gabriel from all of our various committees including Athletics, Home and School Association (HSA), School Advisory Committee (SAC), and general school announcements. Please click HERE to join.

Welcome Packets:

Welcome packets are being assembled and will be available soon. Families will be notified when the packets are available to be picked up in the church after Mass.  Early childhood families will receive their parent information packets by mail very soon.

2022-2023 School Year Staffing Updates:

We are very excited to introduce everybody to the newest members of our teaching staff.

  • We are pleased to announce that Mrs. JoAnne Wasserman will now be with us full-time teaching both art and middle school science. Science has always been a passion of hers and she is very excited to be able to share that passion with our middle school students. Since hands-on collaborative teaching is a strength of hers, science will be a great fit for her!
  • Mrs. Jessica Ditscheit, mother of Bo in K5, will be helping us with the After School Care Program this year on Mondays and Fridays. Thank you for stepping in to help!!

  • We are still accepting applications for our middle school math position. If you know of any teachers who may be interested in joining our team, please send them our way. Please visit this link if you wish to share the job description with colleagues, family, or friends.

Playground Helpers Needed:

You still have time to sign up to be a playground/lunchroom volunteer for the upcoming school year. You can earn $500 off your tuition for each day you work (up to $1,000 off). Sign-up opportunity ends on August 1st. Click HERE to sign up.

End-of-Year Survey

Thank you for your valuable feedback; we are in the process of reviewing your comments and suggestions to make this school year even more successful for you and your child/ren.  We are truly blessed that you have entrusted St. Gabriel Catholic Parish School with your child/ren's education.

2022-2023 School Calendar:

Please click the link below for the updated 2022-2023 school calendar.

** Please note: Next year’s school calendar incorporates enough instructional time to offset one snow day. If there is a need for a second snow day, May 26th will need to be changed to an instructional day instead of an in-service day.  School Calendar Link

The St. Gabriel Catholic Parish School Home and School Association (HSA) is an organization designed to facilitate the communication between school and family in a Catholic, Christian atmosphere, to build a sense of community, and to support the needs of our school in its missions.

HSA’s monthly meetings have a faculty member in attendance to promote the relationship between staff and parents. All parents of St. Gabriel students are members of the organization and are encouraged to get involved.

We are excited about this year and looking forward to planning fun events for you and your family. Click the images below to learn more or visit our web page for updates and meeting information.
