The Results Are In
The results of the 2018 NJ Gifted Education Survey are in. The Rutgers University Division of Continuing Studies and the New Jersey Association for Gifted Children conducted a survey to better understand the current state of gifted education in New Jersey. It is our hope that these findings will inform decisions about gifted education made by educators, advocates and policy makers. Thank you to all of the district superintendents who took the time to respond to the survey.  View survey results .
$1000 Awarded to Gifted Educator
Raelene Joran was awarded the $1,000 Joyce Van Tassel-Baska scholarship at last November's Rutgers Gifted Education Conference . The  Joyce VanTassel-Baska Endowed Scholarship  provides an annual award, valued at $1000, to honor Dr. VanTassel-Baska's contributions to the field of gifted education, and to support educators who wish to enhance their knowledge and skills in working with gifted learners.  Learn more.
