PCF Development continues to address the racial wealth equity gap that persists both in Rhode Island and throughout the nation. By providing high quality HUD-Approved Homebuyer Education and by developing & selling affordable homes, our Program works to fulfill the organization’s mission while at the same time closing the Homeownership gap.

By graduating prepared buyers and selling homes to families and individuals, this program is helping to close the homeownership and wealth equity gap in Pawtucket and Central Falls. In 2022, 100% of PCF Development homes have been sold to families of color.

Through our comprehensive bilingual Homeownership Program, affordable housing development and community engagement efforts, the organization is leading efforts to create neighborhood level economic opportunities to improve the quality of life for all Pawtucket and Central Falls residents.

Middle Street Ribbon Cutting

PCF Development, project partners: City of Pawtucket, Pawtucket Redevelopment Agency, RIHousing, Housing Resource Commission, LISC RI and Centreville Bank, homeowners, and friends and supporters of PCF Development celebrated the completion of the Middle Street development. Today, five owner-occupied properties sit in a previously blighted area.

Decide Tu Futuro

PCF Development is offering our new culturally-specific financial fitness course this September! This curriculum aims to empower the Hispanic community in an effort to narrow the wealth gap and increase the homeownership rate and financial equity in the community through financial education.

Decide tu Futuro is a course for Hispanics by Hispanics that will be taught exclusively in Spanish with a focus on equity, housing stability and financial fitness.
