Europe trip for Sec IV and Vs!
Dear Next Year's Sec. 4 and 5 Students and Parents/Guardians,

Sacred Heart in partnership with our travel partner, Educatours, is aiming to organize a 2023 March Break Trip to Italy.

As in previous years the Europe trip is reserved for Sec.4 and 5 students and is viewed as a senior trip. Priority for trip registration will be given to 2022 - 2023 Sec. 4 and 5 students, however we are limited to 52 student spots for the Italy trip due to logistics. In the advent that we have remaining spots on the trip, we will accept Grade 12 students.

The destinations we plan to visit in Italy are:

Venice
Verona
Florence
Rome
Tivoli
Sorrento & Pompeii
Serra San Bruno & Tropea

We will be holding a virtual Info Session for students and parents/guardians on Tuesday, Sept. 6th at 7 pm where we will provide you with a tentative Itinerary as well as cost.

Please note that the 2023 Italy Trip is subject to Covid related health measures and travel protocols.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

Summer Reading and
School Supplies List
In preparation for the summer holiday, students can find their summer reading lists attached. The school supply lists are also attached in preparation for the 2022-2023 school year.

It's never too early to get a head start and read a good book.
Ms. Rath is honoured by the International Coalition of Girl's Schools!
You may have seen us post photos of our Director of Student Services, Ms. Erika Rath, at the Global Forum on Girls' Education III where she was presenting- But what you may not know is that, aside from being an amazing opportunity to learn from and connect with other educators, the ICGS conference also took the time to honour Erika with the H. William Christ Educator Prize, an annual award given to one "who has demonstrated commitment to extraordinary teaching" and whose teaching efforts have been noted as innovative by their peers!

This award recognizes that Erika's dedication to the personal development of our students reflects the principles and values that the ICGS stands for, including a commitment to equity, inclusion, leadership, integrity, and imagination.

Congratulations, Ms. Rath!
Report Cards & Ministry Transcripts
Report cards are accessible on the COBA portal. Ministry final results for Sec IV and V courses will be available now online. You must create your account on the Ministry website by following the procedure listed below and read the instructions carefully to create your account as you will not be receiving a mailed version.

This is the only way you can access your marks over the summer.

Also, please note that the correction of the Sec V Langue Enseignement Written exams is delayed at the Ministry due to insufficient number of correctors. Students in this course will see a INC next to their course competency. The government has indicated that these grades should be added to the transcript by June 9th.
