Strong Leaders Make Strong Organizations

Leader-in-Residence AiLun Ku's Masterclass

EGF Accelerator's own AiLun Ku, a seasoned nonprofit professional, provided a strategy (and then a template) for how you can predict, anticipate, then seize the moment and take your nonprofit organization to the next level. This was the latest in our series of workshops aimed at strengthening the sector.

We Shared Joy, Reconnected, and Networked Like Crazy

EGF Accelerator Party at Sinigual

Day in and day out, the eighty or so nonprofit professional who attended our latest party work hard to make a better world. But humans do not thrive on zoom alone. Face to face is everything. After the workday was done, margaritas flowed, sliders were chomped, tacos consumed. And the guac? Chef's kiss! We know this: Connection is key. We are better together.

The Final (sniff) Eddie Award

The 2023 Eddie goes to journalist Dominique Jian Lee

For seven years, we've been supporting the Education Writers Association, 700+ hard working journalists who write about the issues crucial to our grantees. We provided them with special recognition for their difficult (and often thankless) work. In May, the EGF Accelerator, together with EWA, awarded Dominique Jian Lee the last Eddie Prize for her searing feature published in Esquire magazine with support from the Economic Hardship Reporting Project. Check it out below.

Listen to this important conversation put together by Georgetown University's FutureEd and the EGF Accelerator about bringing advanced learning opportunities to all kinds of students, not just private schoolers and wealthy suburbanites.

Our Community is Amazing

Quill.org Featured on The Today Show

While they lived with us- and engaged in our intensive consulting -- they grew from serving 10,000 kids to over 2 million. They left us poised for even more growth-- and continue to evolve in ways that fill us with pride.
