Then flash the wings returning Summer calls
Through the deep arches of her forest halls,
The bluebird, breathing from his azure plumes
The fragrance borrowed where the myrtle blooms.

TESTIMONIAL
We wanted to take a minute and thank you for all your help in selling our unit on Osborn Landing. It was amazing that it went under contract within a week of being listed. The closing was seamless. We appreciate the fact that you were there throughout the process. However, our real gratitude goes beyond the recent sale. We originally listed our property but had to pull it off the market last year for our own personal reasons. You did not hesitate to help us. We know it was not easy to put off a sale, but you did so without any hesitation. During that time, you went above and beyond by sending us potential properties that might interest us in the desert even though you had no direct financial interest in that purchase as we moved toward our retirement. When it came time to relist our property this spring, you kept us informed from the time of the contract to the closing. It is easy to say how professional and knowledgeable you are, but it was the personal touch with the details that we valued the most. Thank you again,
-Mark & Sara

CERI'S CORNER: HEALTH ADVICE
-Is Pet Insurance Worth the Cost?
| |
|
I was just listening to my mom talk about losing my big brother from another mother. One day he was his usual tail-wagging self, and the next, he was gone.
It was ruff- really ruff and it got me thinking...Would it have helped to have pet insurance? Now, donāt get me wrongāIām just a corgi, not an insurance salesdog. But if thereās one thing Iāve learned from losing my big brother, itās that being ready for the unexpected is important. Iāve seen how vet bills can pile up faster than treats disappear from my bowl. Pet insurance might just be the safety net we need. It could help with regular checkups, vaccinations, and even those surprise visits to that pesky vet that always seem to happen at the worst times (like when you're about to leave for work).
I think it's worth having a look. Maybe your hoomans will find this article helpful.... click here

DENISE'S READING CORNER
- Miss Morgan's Book Brigade

Montana Native and New York Times bestselling author Janet Skeslien Charles took a break from writing in 2010 and 2012 to work part time at the American Library in Paris. The experience inspired the writing of the first novel in the library trilogy, "The Paris Library".
With the release of this second book in the trilogy, Janet hopes people remember the value libraries and librarians bring to communities during this time when American libraries are the center of our current cultural war.
In 1918, amidst the turmoil of the Great War, Jessie Carson interrupts her tenure at the New York Public Library to aid the American Committee for Devastated France, led by the affluent Anne Morgan. Together with a group of international women, they labor to reconstruct ravaged French towns near the front lines. Jessie embarks on an unprecedented missionāto establish childrenās libraries in a land scarred by war. She transforms ambulances into mobile libraries and trains the first French female librarians, leaving an indelible mark before vanishing without a trace.
In 1987, Wendy Peterson, a librarian at the NYPL with aspirations of writing, stumbles upon a fleeting mention of Jessie Carson buried deep in the archives. Obsessed with uncovering Jessie's story, Wendy soon learns they share more than just a workplace at New Yorkās prestigious library. Little does she know, their destinies are destined to intertwine in unexpected ways across time.

Drawing from the little-known history of courageous women honored with the Croix de Guerre for their valor during wartime, "Miss Morganās Book Brigade" is a poignant celebration of literature and female solidarityāa narrative that resonates with richness, vitality, and an unforgettable tribute to the enduring power of books.
