Summer Mask Update
Dear Orange Families,

With the declining rate of COVID-19 transmissions and to be consistent with the state of Ohio and the governor’s rescinding of orders, we are updating our mask wearing procedures for the summer. In the event we receive new guidance from the state regarding mask wearing, we will adjust our plan accordingly.

For students, masks will continue to be required during indoor activities, which include gatherings in classrooms and on school buses. Masks will be optional for students during outdoor activities.

For adults, masks will be required when indoors working with students. When adults are not working within the vicinity of students, masks will be optional, although we strongly recommend that unvaccinated adults continue to mask while indoors. Also, we ask that students and adults stay home if they or a member of their household is experiencing Covid-19 symptoms or awaiting test results.

We will continue to practice distancing and hand hygiene along with continued effective sanitation of our facilities. Please note that the isolation for those who test positive for COVID-19 and the quarantining of unvaccinated close contacts will continue.
