Hausmann Chamber Music Program Summer Festival 
Presented by the Hausmann Quartet in collaboration with the SDSU Community Music School
An intensive chamber music experience for serious string, wind, brass and piano students ages 12+.* For five days, students will be engaged in a dynamic combination of coaching, classes, performances, and social opportunities. Students will not only make music together, they will form lasting friendships. This year HCMP will also be open to pre-formed adult chamber groups, with an option to participate for less than the full five days.

Times: 9am - 3pm (optional supervised practice/additional coaching/sight reading: 3pm - 5pm)

Who should attend:
 Intermediate to advanced
string, winds, brass, and piano students age 12,*
college and adult adult amateur pre-formed ensembles.
Cost: $500 (includes $75 registration fee). 'A la carte' daily rate of $85 is available only to adult preformed ensembles. Scholarship information available upon request.

San Diego Bass Fest
Presented by the SDSU Community Music School
San Diego Bass Fest is an intense, informative, and exploratory five-day double bass workshop. The San Diego Bass Fest aims to energize and unite the bass community in San Diego and will include internationally renowned bassists and educators to provide one-on-one
and group instruction to students of all levels and all ages. Program will include private
lessons, group technique classes, solo masterclasses, Bass Orchestra, and recitals.

San Diego Summer Music Institute
Presented by San Diego Winds and SDSU School of Music and Dance
The San Diego Summer Music Institute (SDSMI) brings together student musicians of all levels with some of the best musicians and teachers in Southern California to experience amazing musical opportunities while bonding with new friends. Instrumental instruction for winds and percussion are all available in large ensemble, sectionals, and masterclass settings. The SDSMI is more than mastering melody; it is creating positive lifelong memories.

Summer Brass Workshop
Presented by Westwind Brass
The Summer Brass Workshop provides student and adult brass players the opportunity to learn from professional musicians in masterclass, sectional coaching, ensemble, and individual and group performance settings. Ensembles will range from large brass ensembles, brass quintets, brass trios, trumpet, horn, trombone, and low brass ensembles. Private lessons also available during the mornings (7/10-7/14) for an additional fee.

Drum Major Camp
Presented by World Drum Major Association & SDSU School of Music and Dance
Drum Major Camp is for students looking to further their drum major skills for spinning, field conducting, and leadership. The staff includes some of the world's most accomplished instructors, adjudicators, and clinicians. Students will have the opportunity to conduct their own peers in a real ensemble setting.

Summer Color Guard Clinic
Hosted by SDSU Winter Guard
The SDSU Color Guard Summer Clinic includes sessions in dance, flag, rifle, and sabre for beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. Leadership development and performance opportunity for all participants.

Bravo! International Music Academy
Bravo! International Music Academy is a two-week, education intensive music camp for outstanding young string and piano students from around the world.
