Take your pick- browse the Downingtown Library's new books at home AND in-person at the library- or do both! While you're at it- be sure to sign up for Summer Reading Quest for all ages- track your reading, earn chances to win raffles, and earn prizes that will benefit the whole community!

If you place a hold on it, you can pick it up at the library circulation desk, or in the library vestibule using our Contactless Holds Pickup. Tickets on sale now for a virtual "Novel Tea Event" fundraiser!

Mark your calendars for Thursday, July 1st, at 7 p.m Join Downingtown Library as we present a virtual Novel Tea event featuring New York Times bestselling, thriller/mystery writer, Riley Sager and his new novel, Survive the Night, due for release in June. Goodreads ranks Survive The Night among the top 10 most anticipated beach reads of the summer!
The event will be moderated by #1 International bestselling author, Jeffery Deaver. Event proceeds will support the Library’s work to consistently provide opportunities to read, learn, create, connect, and support individual well-being to thousands of patrons in our shared community. Anonymous donors have issued a $10,000 Challenge Grant to help fund the Explorium, an outdoor learning and enrichment center on Downingtown Library grounds- including a stage, outdoor musical instruments, seating, gardens, and more! Learn more about the Explorium!
