The NYC Future Fund


This Spring the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) announced the citywide launch of the revamped NYC Future Fund, a revenue-based loan that adjusts for seasonal and growing small businesses' changing revenue with a flexible repayment plan. The NYC Future Fund is a public-private partnership between the City of New York and local Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), and we are proud to be one of the first four CDFIs selected to offer it.

Joining Senator Gillibrand

for the AAPI Conference


We were pleased to attend this year's Asian American & Pacific Islander Summit, hosted at the U.S. Capital by Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. A day of great speakers, panels, and thoughtful connections, including a a conversation with Senator Gillibrand and Senator Tammy Duckworth, and a terrific discussion of "Grants, Congressional Direct Spending & Small Business Resources discussion" by a distinguished panel that included Accompany Capital Executive Director Yanki Tshering.



The CBA Summit: Credit Cleared for Takeoff


Earlier this month we joined credit-building practitioners from across the country at the Credit Builders Alliance’s Credit Cleared for Takeoff summit to discuss ways that aligning readiness, access, and sustainability can turn financial education into lasting economic mobility. Accompany Capital Data Specialist – and CBA accredited Asset Master Trainer – Roberto Evans presented on “Credit, Disputes & AI”, highlighting both opportunities and risks for borrowers and lenders.

On March 23rd Community Development leaders from across New York State gathered in Albany for our annual two-day statewide conference. This year’s theme – CDFIs at Work: Bridging the Gap – included panel discussions and workshops examining how CDFIs responded to the needs of their communities through unlikely cross-sector partnerships and innovative products.

Meet Richard Portilla


Our new Customer Success Specialist Richard Portilla is passionate about helping underserved business owners overcome barriers to financing and build sustainable enterprises. A lifelong Queens resident who was raised by a mother who worked as a street vendor, he holds a degree in English, Creative Writing, from Hunter College, and is now pursuing graduate studies in Urban Policy and Leadership.
