Our Volunteers Are Back
We are pleased that our volunteers have returned to a variety of roles supporting patients & families. In photo at right, Navy Veteran Volunteer John Keeley presents Hospice House patient Clifford Evans, an Army Veteran with a Recognition of Service plaque for We Honor Veterans.
First Place at Taste of Network!
Corey Voelker, Director of Support Services & Executive Chef, & Sue Moulden, Hospice House Cook, participated in the Network in Aging of Western New York tasting event. They prepared a bib lettuce bundle with savory canapé & rosemary polenta topped with mascarpone & cherry compote. It was an excellent presentation that impressed many health care professionals.

NU Basketball Team Gives a Big Lift
Thank you to the Niagara University men's basketball team for volunteering at the Niagara Hospice administration building on July 13! Assistant Coach Kevin Devitt and the squad came to our campus ready for heavy lifting to move boxes for our staff. Best wishes as they prepare for next season!

Gran Fondo Bike Ride a Great Success
More than 450 riders participated in the ninth annual Gran Fondo bike ride at the Niagara Hospice campus in Lockport on Saturday, Aug. 6 to support hospice care for Niagara County families. Thank you to all the riders, volunteers and sponsors!
