Saint Joseph School Summer News

June 30, 2025

Dear Saint Joseph School Families,

We would like to share an important pastoral transition within our parish community. Father Grzegorz Chodkowski, pastor of Saint Joseph Basilica, has been appointed to serve as a chaplain for the Archdiocese for the Military Services. This specialized ministry is a tremendous calling, and while we will miss Fr. Gregory's presence and support of Saint Joseph School, we wish him every blessing in this new chapter of his vocation.

We are pleased to welcome Father Richard W. Polek, who will succeed Fr. Gregory as pastor of Saint Joseph Basilica. Fr. Polek recently served as pastor of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish in Worcester, and we look forward to welcoming him to our parish and school community. We are confident that his pastoral care and dedication to Catholic education will be a blessing to all of us at Saint Joseph School.
