  • Mark your calendars for Senior Week September 5-8 & Take Down Weekend September 9-11. Details will be sent out mid-summer.

Help Wanted : Lifeguard or Beach Attendant

Given the tight labor market, we are unable to fill the position for all weeks of the summer. We continue to seek lifeguards, but we’ve widened our search to include beach attendants. The beach attendant will maintain the rules at the waterfront, but will not enter the water for a rescue.

The Kingswood lifeguard or beach attendant is responsible for overseeing and ensuring campers health and safety at the waterfront, waterfront maintenance and bathhouse upkeep. The lifeguard stays in one of the cabins on site and works 6 hours per day - 6 days per week.

If you’re interested or have questions, contact Cheryl Winship via text at ‭(845) 741-9652‬ for more details.

Women’s Retreat

Kingswood Outreach

This summer we request that each camper bring a canned good or other non-perishable food. When a group finishes camping, they may also opt to donate their leftover unopened food.

Families in the greater Hancock community have been impacted by the changes in the economy. These food items will be delivered to the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry in Hancock. It’s a cooperative endeavor by all the churches.

On rainy days, families may pick up a no sew blanket project to make for the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry. This year’s contemplative sewing activity is making laundry bags for Laundry Love, an organization that assists with laundry expenses
