Greetings!

I had a wonderful day yesterday teaching my workshop, Pushing the Boundaries with Encaustic Painting at the Arts Center at Killingworth. Had an enthusiastic group of artists wanting to learn about one of the many attributes of the versatile ancient medium of Encaustic, which is its compatibility with so many other mediums. They left thrilled and eager to incorporate the use of Encaustic on their regular studio practice.

On the other hand, it seems as I got bitten by the "talking Bee" after my recent talk at the Encaustic Conference's Post-Con events. Today, I will be giving a talk, along with artists Mary Fussell, David Brown, Derek Leka, and Suzanne Wind Gaskell at our Closing Reception of Dialogue: Representation & Abstraction, at the Mill Gallery...and on July 13th, I'll be giving an informal talk at my solo, at the Alexey von Schlippe Gallery of Art.

I hope you can make it to one or both of my talks. Would love to get to see you again!

Also, I have been working hard to redesign and update my website with my newer works and latest info. Still some more work to do, as my portfolios only contain thumbnails of my works, and if you find working links on them, they might lead you to broken links from my old website. Of course, you are welcome to browse around and take a look at the changes, just bear with me as I finish updating it. Thank you for your patience.

See you aROUND,

CORINA.-
