Over the past year, the foundation team has been grateful to spend time in our partners’ neighborhoods-- learning from them about what’s working, what’s tough, and how we can all best collaborate to shape the world we want to see.
Creating space for our grantees and PRI partners to come together was also a highlight. With support from Community Wealth Partners, the foundation launched a “People Power Community of Practice,” and hosted three peer gatherings in Wilmington, DE, Reading, PA and Newark, NJ. Those events facilitated deep discussions around resident leadership strategies, economic justice, and arts and culture as drivers for transformation.
Our annual convening in March featured dialogue about civic engagement and movement building, community-led storytelling, federal funding ups and downs, and how you are all managing to take care and stay well.
We look forward to continuing to build community with you. Thank you for all your do.
