CCFC Receives Grant
Miossi Charitable Trust
Central Coast Funds for Children was recently the recipient of a $10,000 grant from the Miossi Charitable Trust. The Harold J. Miossi Charitable Trust provides assistance to organizations seeking to improve the quality of life for residents of the city and surrounding area of San Luis Obispo, California. This Trust was established under the will of Mr. Harold J. Miossi, who died on November 8, 2006. The Foundation focuses on six key areas: animal-related, education, environment, the Catholic Church, fine arts and youth development.
Central Coast Funds for Children wishes to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation for being chosen as a recipient. 100 percent of these funds will support the total amount of money available to award CCFC grants in December 2022.

Thank You,
St. Barnabas Thrift Store
CCFC would like to give a huge shout out to St. Barnabus Thrift Store for the generous donation of $2,000. Fundraising Chairperson, Joanne Rogoff, and Trustee, Susan Murray, accept a check from St. Barnabus Thrift Shop.
The St. Thrift Shop is a not-for-profit outreach ministry of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Grover Beach, California. They serve the community by recycling a wide range of donated articles.
The mission of the thrift shop is to give back to the community which supports it. Each month they make a significant donation from Thrift Shop proceeds to one of 12 local charitable organizations ~ Central Coast Funds for Children, Maxine Lewis Woman’s Shelter, Hospice Partners of the Central Coast, 5 Cities Meals on Wheels, Caring Callers, Captive Hearts, and Women’s Shelter Program, Inc. are just 7 of the 12 organizations who receive our support.

Women's Council of Realtors Names CCFC as Beneficiary of Fundraiser
Several CCFC members donned their cowboy boots to "Kick Up Some Dust" at the First Annual Women's Council of REALTORS® Central Coast Network. The BBQ fundraiser was held at the Holland Ranch on Carpenter Canyon Road on May 19, 2022. The evening included great music, a delicious BBQ dinner and live auction. It was an evening full of fun and helped raise money for Women's Council of REALTORS® and Central Coast Funds for Children. "We are honored to be able to raise money for such an amazing group of women who work tirelessly to help the children of San Luis Obispo County," said organizer, Steve Ingels.
Again, CCFC wishes to extend our sincere gratitude to be named a beneficiary of the Women's Council of REALTORS® fundraiser. All of the funds donated to CCFC will be used to augment the total amount of money for CCFC's grant awards.
