AGORA NETWORK MINISTRIES

Moving You Towards Greater Mental Health

AGORA NETWORK MINISTRIES | COMMUNITY UPDATE

The Agora Connection

JUNE 2026 EDITION

Dear Agora Friends,

In many ways it is hard to believe that we're almost halfway through the year with summer finally upon us. Our Executive Director, Allan Gallant, has been keeping you up to date on the direction of Agora and some of our details.

Over the summer months the focus will be building the future as the Board meets in the fall to finalize the plans. Our prayer for you who love Agora’s mission is that you will be refreshed and encouraged over the summer months. May we be renewed in strength as a community to provide resources for

better mental health for Churches.

This is a good time to remind ourselves that Jesus said in Matthew 25:40:

‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ (NIV)

Chair of the Agora Board, Dan Weare -

God is moving powerfully across Ontario, and we are incredibly grateful for your continued prayers, partnership, and dedication to the mission of Agora Network Ministries. Over these few months, we celebrate new leadership, expanding workshop initiatives, and the growing reach of our digital and prayer ministries.

Welcoming Grace Garcia to the Toronto Region

On behalf of the leadership team, Dan Weare, Chair of the Agora Board, is pleased to officially announce that Grace Garcia, our newest board member, has stepped into the crucial role of Toronto Agora Representative for Agora Network Ministries. Grace brings a wealth of experience, a deep love for the community, and a strategic vision for ministry within Canada's largest urban center. In her new capacity, she will be overseeing local outreach initiatives, fostering pastoral connections, and ensuring that the vision of Agora is deeply embedded within Toronto communities. Please join Dan and the rest of the board in praying for Grace as she transitions into this vital leadership role.

On the Road: Connecting with Churches Across Ontario

Our team has been actively traveling across the province over the last few months, sharing the heart of Agora. Hundreds of people in churches throughout Ontario are hearing about our mission as we visit and share. Through Sunday services, regional presentations, and small-group gatherings, we are seeing a wonderful resonance with our vision to equip the local church. These visits are vital for raising awareness, building regional networks, and finding new ways to serve local congregations.

Addressing the Rising Need for Men's Mental Health

A growing need for men's mental health is rising to the surface. Over the last three Impactus Conferences Agora has been a part of, we have witnessed an incredible response with 800 men attending the workshop. The feedback confirms that men are searching for safe spaces to process stress, anxiety, and spiritual wellness, and we are committed to expanding our targeted

resources to support them.

MINISTRY IMPACT FACT

800 men have engaged with Agora workshops across the last three Impactus Conferences, signaling an urgent and vital opening for targeted men's mental health ministry.

New Mental Health Resources Created From Your Feedback

Over the last few months we have created resources that were based off the survey we conducted last year regarding what you are looking for to help you with mental health resources. We have created a couple of webinar that dealt with stress, and parenting, we have set up a free download of the Building Resilience course as a resource. We would like some feedback from you about how these resources met your expectations and need. Would you fill in the box

whether each of these met your expectation and helped you.

Fill in the box yes or no and send us an email at info@agoranetworkministries.com

Bringing 'Calm in the Storm' to Families

In addition to men's initiatives, families are facing unique pressures. The Calm in the Storm workshop is being asked for by churches to help parents understand the emotions of their children and how to help navigate a calm in their homes. This critical session equips parents with practical, faith-grounded tools to handle emotional distress, foster strong communication, and build emotional resilience under their roofs.

Prayer & Digital Reach: Continuous Growth

We also praise God for the growth of our foundational care ministries. Our prayer line is being used extensively over the last few months, offering a vital lifeline to individuals seeking hope and spiritual grounding. Concurrently, our digital outreach continues to expand: the podcast 'Hope for the Agora' is being listened to by 500 + people monthly, delivering biblical encouragement and mental health insights straight to listeners.

Partner With Us: Support Quality Mental Health

Resources As demand for our workshops, community counseling support, and digital resources continues to surge across the province, our operational needs grow alongside it. If you want to help us provide more quality mental health resources we need you to become a monthly financial donor. We are looking for people that would give $25 monthly to help us generate these services and

new initiatives. Together, we can ensure that no church or family has to navigate their storm alone.
