Summer 2020 Newsletter
Hello out there!

We'd like to begin this newsletter by extending our sincere appreciation to everyone providing care during this time. From nurses to nurse aides, schedulers to case managers, social workers and physicians, we thank you for not missing a beat while providing care to your clients. Let's also recognize the agency owners and administrators who early on saw the tidal wave of need for care at home and without hesitation  led their teams to provide that necessary service. You make us proud to work in this industry.

New Blog Series:  Generations is built on a service that offers providers tools to streamline their day to day operations and to deliver exceptional care. To encourage high level use of Generations we've started a brand new blog series: Tech Feature Spotlight. Visit the Generations blog for additional information on tools found in Generations or to sign up for your own account.

Spotlight Session Webinars:  In addition to the ongoing blog content, over the last few months current users of Generations have been attending our webinar series: Generations Spotlight Sessions. Twice a month, our knowledgeable, and often humorous, Customer Success Managers present an in depth look at Generations. These webinars are intended to optimize your day to day use of Generations. Attendees come away feeling energized and armed with the best known practices.

Keep an eye on your inboxes for the invitation, or reach us via LiveChat .

 Security Updates
Today our focus remains largely on providing our clients with the most secure platform on which to store their data. Our partnership with LiquidWeb has been critical to our mission. To that end, we've recently added an additional disaster recovery site for data redundancy purposes.  Approximately every ten minutes, data from each Generations account is replicated from the primary data center in Michigan to the disaster recovery site in Arizona. Both sites are fully compliant with SSAE 16 standards. Generations will continue to run at minimal latency and with maximum redundancy. You can be confident your data is safe with Generations.

EVV Solutions
Progress on US state EVV integrations is steady and strong.

Pennsylvania and Rhode Island are among the newest state specific EVV interfaces added to Generations. Colorado's interface is currently in testing with the expectation it will be available within the next couple of weeks. We are regularly adding to the list of completed state interfaces so please reach out for a status of the Medicaid billing interface in your state.

Generations EVV is essential for monitoring the delivery of quality care, in real time. With Generations EVV your team will:
  • Improve care plan compliance and care outcomes
  • Track your clients well-being via Wellness Questions
  • Meet your state's Medicaid EVV requirements
